Touse Remodeling wins three awards in state competition
Touse Remodeling Corp., a Columbia-based home improvement contractor, recently won three industry awards in a statewide competition.
The Maryland Improvement Contractors Association awarded Touse two Remodeler of the Year awards at the 2002 ROYAL (Remodeler of the Year Award Laureate) awards dinner Nov. 20 at the Center Club in Baltimore.
The awards were for the "Residential Interior Over $25,000" and "Entire House" categories.
The company also recently received a silver merit award from the Homebuilders Association of Maryland for "Residential Remodeling Under $75,000."
Businesswomen to meet Jan. 13 at Sheraton hotel
The Columbia chapter of the American Business Women's Association will hold its monthly meeting Jan. 13 at the Sheraton Columbia Hotel, 10207 Wincopin Circle. Professional women in all fields are invited.

County seeks private sewage system evaluators
The Howard County Health Department is seeking applications from qualified people to perform percolation tests and site evaluations for on-site residential sewage disposal systems in Howard County as part of a pilot percolation-test privatization project.
