(Last week's ranking in parentheses)

THREE PLAYERS TO WATCH

Jets RB Curtis Martin vs. Patriots: Martin (right) is tough on his old team. He has rushed for 100 yards five times against the Patriots, and each one produced a victory.

Chiefs QB Trent Green vs. Chargers: Green has thrown for seven TDs and only one interception in his past six games. The Chargers are 30th in pass defense.

Broncos RB Clinton Portis vs. Raiders: Portis, who has seven 100-yard rushing games as a rookie, was held to 50 by the Raiders in Week 10.

THE HONORS

Game of the week: Broncos at Raiders. The last time these teams met, Oakland QB Rich Gannon completed 21 consecutive passes. If he comes close again, it'll be a knockout punch for the Broncos.

Dog of the week: Texans at Redskins. Houston GM Charley Casserly would love to beat Redskins owner Daniel Snyder, the man who fired him. But it's not likely to happen.

Upset of the week: Giants over Colts. The Giants are desperate and may have the cornerbacks to hold Marvin Harrison under his normal 10 catches.
