Baltimore City

Northern District

Bank robbery: A man robbed Columbia Bank in the Village of Cross Keys in the 5100 block of Falls Road about 1:15 p.m. yesterday of an undisclosed sum of money after giving a teller a holdup note and displaying the butt of a handgun, the FBI said. The robber was seen entering a car driven by another man.

Western District

Carjacking arrest: Officer Frank A. Golimowski was in the 1200 block of W. North Ave. about 3 a.m. Wednesday when he spotted a speeding 2002 Ford Taurus that had been reported stolen in a carjacking Oct. 8 on Rosalind Avenue. Arrested and charged with carjacking, assault and traffic violations was Siake Tejan Jalloh, 28, of the 200 block of Nottingham Road. He is wanted in Washington for failing to appear in court on a robbery charge, and by the state police in Hagerstown on a theft charge.

Southwestern District

Shooting: A man, 37, from Owings Mills, reported he was driving on U.S. 40 in the city about 7 p.m. Wednesday when a bullet pierced his car and struck him in the leg. He drove himself to St. Agnes HealthCare.

Southern District

Theft from vehicle: A cellular phone valued at $200 was stolen Wednesday from the console of a 1996 Honda Accord parked in the 1100 block of William St.

Baltimore County

Essex Precinct

Robbery: Police were seeking a man who robbed a woman, 33, of $800 in rent and Christmas money about 7 p.m. Tuesday as she stood at Back River Neck Road and Williams Avenue.

North Point Precinct

Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a man, 34, of $60 and a backpack containing a radio at Shipway and Eastship roads about 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered an apartment in the 10300 block of Gelding Drive on Wednesday and stole clothing, computer equipment, $100 and keys, and apparently left in the occupant's black 2000 Mercedes-Benz SUV with tags M453964, valued at $30,000.
