Eastern District

Shooting: A man was shot in the head about 6:30 p.m. yesterday in the 2000 block of E. North Ave. and was in critical condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Southwestern District

Shooting/carjacking: A male motorist, 24, was near Leakin Park on Sunday night when a gunman shot him in both legs and the groin before he and an accomplice stole the victim's 2002 Oldsmobile with tags GWF 366. The victim was admitted to Sinai Hospital.

Northeastern District

Robbery: A gunman robbed Erdman Video Outlet in the 4700 block of Erdman Ave. of more than $100 Sunday evening.

Southeastern District

Stolen vehicle: A purple 1996 Ford Taurus with tags GAV 837 was stolen Sunday in the 3000 block of Fleet St.

Southern District

Theft from vehicle: A digital camera and other items - all valued at $450 - were stolen Sunday from a van in the 900 block of Covington St.

Baltimore County

Essex Precinct

Theft: A decorative wooden reindeer valued at $40 was stolen early Sunday outside a house in the 12800 block of Cunninghill Cove Road.

Garrison Precinct

Robbery: A gunman robbed a Pizza Hut carryout in the 1000 block of Reisterstown Road of $140 about 7:15 p.m. Sunday.

Wilkens Precinct

Burglary: A DVD player, compact discs, jewelry and field glasses - all valued at nearly $7,000 - were stolen Sunday from a house in the 300 block of Stonewall Road.
