Community college offers Web database for job-seekers
Employers and Anne Arundel Community College students are welcome to use Anne Arundel Community College Works Wonders, the college's resume and job database.
Employers who open an account with the program can post job openings, view student resumes and update their listings. To request an account, send an e-mail to career specialist Andrea Willey, alwilley@aacc.edu. Include the name and a brief description of the company, plus the address, company URL (if available); and the name, phone number and e-mail address of a primary contact.
Students can access AACC Works Wonders from the college's career planning and job search services Web page, www. aacc.edu/advising/career/default. htm or through http://aacc. erecruiting.com.
The Career and Transfer Resource Center will schedule student information sessions on how to use the system. Students also can stop by the center for help posting their resumes.
The original AACC Works Wonders had more than 300 students and 700 employers in its database before the software company that managed the site went out of business eight months ago. The new recruiting software system allows students to access national as well as local job opportunities. Information: 410-777-2512.
