Primm joins staff of McDaniel College in development
Marcus Lee Primm is joining the staff of McDaniel College as special assistant in development.
He will oversee the Carroll County Student Grant Program, which has provided more than $4.5 million in scholarships to more than 3,000 Carroll County students since its inception in 1984.
He also will help launch the Green and Gold Club, a program that will be the official booster society for McDaniel College varsity athletics.
A 1989 alumnus of the college, Primm spent most of his career at Carroll County Bank and Trust, later purchased by BB&T.; He started with the bank in 1974 as assistant vice president and branch manager for its Eldersburg office, where he also was marketing officer.
He also led the bank's consumer services and marketing and sales divisions, retiring as vice president and regional sales coordinator for the Baltimore region.
Primm is active with the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce and Carroll County General Hospital.
