Seattle (4-9) at Atlanta (8-4-1)
Time: 1 p.m. today.
Line: Falcons by 9 1/2 .
Key stat: Falcons are plus-10 in turnover differential.
Worth watching: RB Shaun Alexander leads the Seahawks with 900 rushing yards (4.0 per carry). Falcons RB T.J. Duckett is third among NFL rookies with 498 yards rushing.
Outlook: The Falcons look to bounce back after last week's pivotal loss to the Bucs. The Seahawks have NFL's worst rushing defense, meaning Michael Vick might have room to run this week.
N.Y. Jets (7-6) at Chicago (3-10)
Time: 1 p.m. today.
Line: Jets by 6 1/2 .
Key stat: Jets have won five of past six, allowing more than 14 points only once (26-20 loss to Raiders).
Worth watching: Jets QB Chad Pennington (14 TD passes vs. six interceptions) is the NFL's top-rated passer. Bears WR Marty Booker is third in the NFC with 79 receptions.
Outlook: The Bears are staggering toward the end of the season while the Jets are surging. One of the worst teams in the league meets one of the hottest.
Oakland (9-4) at Miami (8-5)
Time: 1 p.m. today.
Line: Dolphins by 1 1/2 .
Key stat: Dolphins are 6-1 in games QB Jay Fiedler has started.
Worth watching: Raiders S Rod Woodson leads the NFL with six interceptions. Dolphins DE Jason Taylor is second in the league with 14 sacks.
Outlook: The Raiders' Rich Gannon is the better quarterback in the game, but the Dolphins know how to win with Fiedler -- give the ball to Ricky Williams, who leads the NFL with 1,500 yards rushing.
Tampa Bay (10-3) at Detroit (3-10)
Time: 1 p.m. today.
Line: Bucs by 8 1/2 .
Key stat: Bucs lead NFL with turnover differential of plus-14.
Worth watching: Bucs QB Brad Johnson has thrown 15 TD passes and only one interception in the past five games. Lions rookie QB Joey Harrington has thrown 12 TD passes vs. 16 interceptions.
Outlook: Tampa Bay is rolling toward the playoffs and has plenty of incentive. The Bucs can't afford to fall into a tie with New Orleans because the Saints have the tiebreaker advantage.
San Diego (8-5) at Buffalo (6-7)
Time: 1 p.m. today.
Line: Bills by 3.
Key stat: Chargers have lost four of six since their bye week.
Worth watching: Chargers RB LaDainian Tomlinson is third in the NFL with 1,375 rushing yards. Travis Henry leads the Bills with 1,168 yards.
Outlook: The Chargers' slump can be attributed to one factor -- a brutal schedule. The Bills are no soft touch, but Tomlinson should be able to run against the NFL's No. 31 rushing defense.
Carolina (5-8) at Pittsburgh (7-5-1)
Time: 1 p.m. today.
Line: Steelers by 8 1/2 .
Key stat: It's Carolina's No. 30 offense vs. Steelers' No. 8 defense.
Worth watching: Steelers WR Hines Ward is second in the NFL with 98 receptions, 11 for TDs. Panthers QB Rodney Peete had three of his 12 TD passes last week.
Outlook: Have the Steelers recovered from the shock of losing to the Texans last week? If not, they could blow this game and the AFC North title because they still have to play Tampa Bay and the Ravens. The Steelers have too much at stake.
Minnesota (3-10) at New Orleans (9-4)
Time: 1 p.m. today.
Line: Saints by 7.
Key stat: Vikings have lost 17 consecutive road games.
Worth watching: The NFC's top two rushers: Saints RB Deuce McAllister has 1,176 yards (4.5 avg.); Vikings RB Michael Bennett has 1,114 (5.5 avg.).
Outlook: McAllister should find room to run against the Vikings' 30th-ranked defense. Their turnover differential of minus-18 is worst in the league. If the Saints keep winning, they could win the NFC South.
