Askew, Vance B. On December 8, 2002, VANCE Van B. ASKEW, 75, of Holiday, FL, at Baytree Nursing Center in Palm Harbor, FL. Born in Portsmouth, VA, he moved to Florida in 1988 from Salisbury, MD. Mr Askew was a retired Circulation Manager for the Baltimore Sun newspaper after 45 years. He was a U.S. Army Air corp veteran of World War II, a member of the V.F.W. and American Legion in Holiday; a member of the Moose in Holiday; a member of the Forest Hills Civic Association in Holiday, and a member of the Lions Club in Maryland. He was a methodist. He is survived by his wife, Shirley, two daughters, Milicent Louis Paparounis and Deborah Ellen Askew-Winkler, both of Baltimore; a sister, Mildred Larsen and Lady Lake, Fl and several nieces. Teel, Donald C. DONALD CLIFFORD TEEL, 72, of Lincoln and formerly of Maple Road, Edgemeer, MD died Wednesday, December 11, 2002 in Bayhealth Medical Center, Milford Memorial Division. He was born in Nazareth, PA the son of the late Charles Reginald and Margaret (nee Ruth) Teel. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was a crane operator at Bethlehem Steel for 37 1/2 yrs. retiring in 1992. He moved to Delaware in 1993 and has worked for the Delaware Solid Waste Authority in Ellendale for the past 9 years. He was member of St. John The Apostle Catholic Church, the American Legion and the Milford Loyal Order of Moose Lodge # 2316. He was preceded in death by his son Wayne David Teelin on January 2002 also, two brothers William and Charles Teel and a sister Dorothy. He is survived by his wife of 49 years Frieda Marie Teel, a daughter and son-in-law Donna Marie and Theodore Pappas of Baltimore, MD; a daughter-in-law Deborah Teel of Frederick, MD; one sister Joan Stetch of Nazareth, PA; one brother Ronald Teel of Bath, PA; and six grandchildren Matthew Donald and his wife Jennifer Teel, Kristopher David Teel, Robert Lee Nally, Erin Marie Nally, Nicholas George Pappas and George Charles Pappas. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 A.M. Saturday, December 14, 2002 at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, Seabury Avenue and School Pl, Milford.
