Arrest: Jerry Crosby, 20, was arrested yesterday at his home in the 100 block of N. Linwood Ave. on a warrant charging him with attempted murder in the shooting Dec. 7 of a man in the 3100 block of E. Monument St.
Central District
Arrest: Shauwn Lane, 15, of the 3100 block of Lawnview Ave. remained in custody after his arrest this week on a warrant charging him as an adult with attempted murder. He is accused of shooting Shawn Barrett, 32, of the 4900 block of St. Gemma Road on Nov. 2 in the first block of E. Baltimore St.
Southwestern District
Hit-run victim named: Yesterday police identified Charles Lawrence, 44, of the 2300 block of Allendale Road as the man killed Wednesday night when he was struck by two cars in the 3200 block of Edmondson Ave. Neither driver stopped.

Parkville Precinct
Burglary: A Yamaha all-terrain vehicle and several spare tires and rims - all valued at nearly $6,000 - were stolen Wednesday from a shed in the 3400 block of Northwind Road.
Garrison Precinct
Robbery: A man was walking on the parking lot of the Metro station on Painters Mill Road about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday when another man robbed him of a radio, headphones and cash.
Woodlawn Precinct
Burglary: A DVD player and a leather coat were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 100 block of Long Pine Road.
