An article in yesterday's editions of The Sun about the sale of 25,000 acres of forest on the Eastern Shore and in Southern Maryland misstated the status of the deal. The owner of the land, Glatfelter Pulp Wood Co., is still negotiating with the potential buyer, The Conservation Fund. For the sale to proceed, it would have to be approved by Glatfelter's board of directors, which has not seen the proposal.
