Girl critically hurt in crash in Harford

THE BALTIMORE SUN

An 11-year-old Monkton girl was in critical condition yesterday after a two-car crash in Fallston on Monday night, state police said.

Jennifer Ann Gallatin of the 3800 block of Justin Road was in the pediatric intensive care unit at Johns Hopkins Hospital with massive head and upper body injuries, state police said. She was a passenger in a 1995 Dodge Neon driven by her stepsister, Jennifer Ashley Christ, 18, of the same address, which was struck while turning left from southbound Route 152 to Route 147 about 6:30 p.m., police said.

A 1996 Ford Ranger driven by Derek John Didonato of High Springs, Fla., was traveling north on Route 152 when it struck the Neon on the passenger side, police said. Both drivers were treated and released from a local hospital.
