Southeastern District
Drug arrests: Officers of the district's drug enforcement unit raided three houses in the first block of N. Potomac St. and one in the first block of S. Decker Ave. yesterday and arrested seven people on charges of drug possession and distribution. Seized during the 10 a.m. raids were a .22-caliber handgun, at least 60 capsules of heroin, 33 Ecstasy pills, a small amount of marijuana and $1,000. Also seized were a 1989 Dodge van and materials used to package narcotics. Among those arrested was Rodney "Rock" Wright, 34, a resident of one of the houses raided on Potomac Street.
Theft from vehicle: Welding equipment valued at $4,000 was stolen Monday from a 1986 Ford truck parked in the 1700 block of Joplin St.
Northwestern District
Robbery try/assault: A man, 36, was in the 2300 block of Liberty Heights Ave. about 6:30 p.m. Monday when he was attacked by three males who attempted to rob him while beating him with their fists. The attackers fled when no money was found on the victim.

Woodlawn Precinct
Carjacking: Police were seeking three men who forced a motorist out of his 2002 Mercedes-Benz at gunpoint outside the Golden Dragon Restaurant in the 8100 block of Liberty Road on Sunday night.
Towson Precinct
Burglaries: Between Nov. 27 and Dec. 1, three dwellings at Valley View Apartments in the 7700 block of Greenview Terrace were burglarized. Taken were more than $1,000 in electronics items and cash.
