Woodlawn Precinct
Kidnapping: Police were seeking William T. Dorsey, 23, who was reported kidnapped Thursday from his home in the first block of Topview Court. Later, someone called a friend of Dorsey's demanding $20,000 for his return. Police said a car thought to be Dorsey's was found in the city during the weekend, partially covered with mud, at Westside Shopping Center in the 2400 block of Frederick Ave.
Burglary: Someone broke into a Canopy restaurant in the 5800 block of Johnnycake Road on Saturday and stole $250.
Parkville Precinct
Burglary: Someone entered a Subway restaurant in the 8800 block of Waltham Woods Road on Saturday and stole more than $600.
Towson Precinct
Burglary: A videocassette recorder, DVD player, laptop computer and video games were stolen Saturday from an apartment in the 7700 block of Greenview Terrace.
Burglary: Beer steins and pewter containers - all valued at more than $100 - were stolen Saturday from a home in the 6900 block of Donachie Road.
Garrison Precinct
Robbery/arrest: A man, 23, was walking along Reisterstown Road near Richmar Road about 5:30 p.m. Saturday when another man knocked him to the ground and robbed him of $450. A short time later, police arrested a suspect. Robbery charges were pending.

Southeastern District
Theft: A man posing as a parking lot attendant in the 800 block of Eastern Ave. on Saturday evening demanded $25 from a motorist before the victim could leave. After handing over $25, the motorist notified police.
Robbery: A 37-year-old woman was assaulted and robbed of $9 about 8 p.m. Saturday in the 200 block of N. Linwood Ave.
Robbery: A 21-year-old man was robbed of his wallet by another man about noon Friday in the 3200 block of E. Lombard St.
Western District
Shooting: Tremine Crawford, 25, was standing in the 1300 block of Mosher St. about 7 p.m. Saturday when he heard a gunshot and realized he had been hit. Crawford was treated for a bullet wound to his right side at Maryland Shock Trauma Center, and was listed in good condition.
Southern District
Robbery: A man, 52, was walking along a wooded path near the 1500 block of Cole St. about 3 p.m. Saturday when two men robbed him at gunpoint of $48.
Burglary: Light fixtures valued at $200 were stolen Saturday from a house in the 200 block of Scott St. by someone who entered through a window.
