Sherwood (10-2) scored on Josh Twyman's 5-yard run in the third quarter and on Bob Sheahin's 9-yard pass to Michael Goodman in the fourth.
Sherwood, state champion in 1995 and '96, had avenged its only previous loss with a 26-14 semifinal win over Gaithersburg.
