Both teams lost to No. 1 Gilman, but Calvert Hall has a win over Mount St. Joseph, which has beaten Loyola. Cardinals quarterback Andrew Goldbeck (1,344 passing yards, 13 touchdowns) targets wide receivers Dan Spriggs (seven touchdowns) and Lamar Williams (six). He also has running backs Marques Thompson (1,466 yards, 17 touchdowns) and Nick Williams (675, 11), who run behind linemen Matt Janowski and Zach Greaver. Loyola quarterback-linebacker Brady Smith (6-1, 235) and running back-defensive end Terence Morin (6-1, 195) work behind a rotation of Chris Bianco, Dan Wykowski, Kevin Morris, Doug Holmes, Chris Naylor, Hugh Miller, Scott Vane and Conwell Ottenritter.
