The Pointe
Model homes are now open at The Pointe, the final neighborhood within South River Colony in Edgewater. The Pointe is a master-planned golf course community near Annapolis, according to Slenker Land Co., the developer.
Centex Homes and Drees Homes are building luxury townhouses at The Pointe. The 24-foot-wide homes offer three or four levels, brick exteriors and two-car garages. The Centex townhomes are priced in the $370,000s and offer three bedrooms and 3 1/2 bathrooms. Drees townhomes are priced in the $400,000s. They include three bedrooms and two full and two half bathrooms.
The Pointe is across the street from Central elementary and middle schools, and South River High School. Homes are surrounded by a 175-acre nature preserve. South River Colony contains more than 725 homes and has been under development for five years.
To reach The Pointe, take U.S. 50 east to Aris T. Allen Boulevard. Keep right and turn right on Route 2, Solomons Island Road, toward Edgewater. Turn left on Route 214 (Central Avenue) and drive 1.5 miles. Turn left at Noblewood Road. Models are on the left, across from the high school.
