Three men charged in attempted murder of robbery victim

When a man was held up at gunpoint early yesterday on Summer Rain Court in Glen Burnie, he dropped $12 and ran, Anne Arundel County police said.

But the one of the robbers fired at him, waking neighbors in the area, police said. The man was not injured, and neighbors were able to give police a description of the assailants.

Later that morning, Dennis Henry Robinson, 18, of the 500 block of N. Pulaski St., Baltimore; Alexander Leon Gray, 18, of the 8000 block of Long Branch Terrace, Glen Burnie; and Robert Lee Galloway, 18, of the 8200 block of Marlton Court in Severn were arrested and charged with attempted murder and armed robbery. They are being held at the Anne Arundel County Detention Center.

Robey named assistant to council member elect

Anne Arundel County Council member-elect Ron Dillon Jr., a Republican from Pasadena, announced yesterday that Erik Robey has agreed to serve as his legislative assistant.

Robey, a Pasadena resident who recently headed the precinct operations for the Anne Arundel County Ehrlich-for-Governor team, recently received a bachelor's degree in management from National Lewis University. He also has served as the county GOP's political director.

Dillon defeated Democratic incumbent Shirley Murphy.
