Hammond Elementary pupils performing tonight
Schoolhouse Theater Arts and Hammond Elementary School will present Schoolhouse Rock Live, Jr., a performance of tunes from the cartoon Schoolhouse Rock by drama club pupils in grades two through five, at 7 p.m. today in the Hammond Middle School gymnasium, 8110 Aladdin Drive, North Laurel.

Holiday workshops registration under way
Registration is being accepted for the South Laurel Recreation Council's holiday workshops for children, teen-agers, adults and families, to be held next month at Montpelier Carriage House and Deerfield Run Community Center in Laurel.
Children's workshops are for ages 6 to 12; ages 8 to adult can attend family workshops.

Gift, craft sale: A Holiday Gift and Craft Sale is planned from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 30 and noon to 6 p.m. Dec. 1 at Carroll Baldwin Memorial Hall in Savage. Agewell exercise: Savage Senior Center, 9525 Durness Lane, is planning a Level One 50+ Agewell exercise class at 11 a.m. Wednesdays. The emphasis will be on reducing arthritic pain and stiffness and improving balance. The exercises can be done while standing or sitting.
