Northeastern District
Homicide arrest: Michael Hall, 21, of the 3700 block of Elmley Ave. remains held without bail at Central Booking and Intake Center after being charged with first-degree murder in the fatal beating of Amanda Alice Nolan, 38. The victim, who lived in vacant houses, was found dead Nov. 11 -- her body wrapped in a sheet and a blanket and bound with tape in an alley three doors from Hall's home. He was arrested Nov. 14, said homicide Detective Ron Berger.
Southeastern District
Burglary: A 27-inch television and stereo equipment -- all valued at $1,050 -- were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 2500 block of E. Jefferson St.
Theft: Hand and power tools valued at $630 were stolen Tuesday from a city Department of Public Works van parked in the 100 block of N. Chester St.
Southwestern District
Robbery: A man robbed a woman at knifepoint of jewelry in the 400 block of N. Denison St. about 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Southern District
Burglary: A woman, 28, spotted her ex-boyfriend entering her home in the 2900 block of Denham Circle through a window Tuesday afternoon and shut the window on his neck, trapping him while she called police. The man was gone when police arrived.
Theft: Jewelry, a briefcase and clothing -- all valued at $1,567 -- were stolen Tuesday from a 1999 BMW parked in the 1700 block of Russell St.
Theft: Jeweler's tools, metals and two compact discs -- all valued at $330 -- were stolen Tuesday from a 2002 Mazda station wagon parked in the 800 block of S. Hanover St.
Burglary: A copier, printer, scanner, computer and computer software -- all valued at $2,500 -- were stolen Tuesday from New Southwest Community Association in the 300 block of S. Gilmor St.
Baltimore County
Essex Precinct
Robbery: A man, 52, was walking along Kelso Drive near Rossville Boulevard about 6:30 a.m. Tuesday when three men, one with a handgun, robbed him of six bottles of methadone.
Woodlawn Precinct
Robbery: A woman, 26, was stepping from her car in the 2400 block of Battersea Place about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday when a gunman robbed her of her wallet containing an undisclosed sum of money.
Garrison Precinct
Burglary: Video games and accessories --valued at $600 -- were stolen Tuesday from an apartment in the first block of Matinee Court.
