Northeastern District
Robbery and crash: Police were seeking three males who robbed a man on Hartsdale Road about 4 p.m. yesterday, fleeing in a stolen Dodge Neon. The car later collided with a 1986 BMW on Northbourne Road and overturned, but the robbers escaped through a rear window. The driver of the BMW, Kevin Savage, 34, an equipment operator at Towson University, was not injured, police said.
Southwestern District
Abduction/shooting: A gunman forced two men into the trunk of their car in Edmondson Village on Sunday night. They were driven around before the gunman abandoned the car in the 1100 block of Harlem Ave., two hours after shooting a man in the leg during a robbery attempt there. The men in the trunk freed themselves when the gunman fled. The shooting victim was in serious condition at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.
Baltimore County
Cockeysville Precinct
Burglary: Golf clubs, cash and car keys were stolen Monday from a house in the first block of Tyburn Court. The occupant's car also was taken.
Garrison Precinct
Arrests: Three men tried to break into a house Sunday in the 4900 of Old Court Road after the car in which they were riding crashed into a parked car owned by a resident there. The owner of the car was about to call police when the men broke windows and tried to force open the front door. A prison officer witnessed the incident and detained the men for police. They were charged with burglary and property destruction.
