East Columbia

Tamar Drive: 8900 block, Owen Brown. Seven microwave ovens were stolen from an apartment complex Nov. 8.

Grapevine Court: 9200 block, Oakland Mills. Someone stole a videocassette recorder, stereo and jewelry from a home Nov. 9.

West Columbia

Little Patuxent Parkway: 10300 block, Town Center. Someone tried to break into a kiosk Nov. 10 at The Mall in Columbia but was scared off by a security guard.

Ellicott City/Elkridge

Washington Boulevard: 7700 block, Elkridge. Someone stole a jacket containing $320 from a home Nov. 10.

Old Waterloo Road: 6500 block, Elkridge. Someone stole cash, lottery tickets, cigarettes and tools from the Cornerstone Deli and Cafe on Nov. 13.

N. Laurel/Savage/Jessup

Cherrystone Court: 8400 block, Scaggsville. Boots were stolen from a garage Nov. 11.

Washington Boulevard: 9900 block, North Laurel. Three men, one armed with a handgun, robbed the Fiesta Plus Mercado Latino of cash Nov. 11 and fled.

Western Howard

Fairgrounds Road: 2200 block, West Friendship. Someone stole jewelry Friday that was to be auctioned at the Howard County Fairgrounds.
