Grab, part owner of Vintage Security, wins sales contest
John Grab, sales manager and part owner of Vintage Security, was a winner in the 2002 GE Interlogix Dealer Sales Contest. He and his wife, Kim, traveled to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, for the 17th annual GE Interlogix national dealer sales meeting.
Vintage Security, which has offices in Columbia and Herndon, Va., finished among the top 5 percent in a field of more than 3,000 North American security companies.
Vintage's staff of 40 worked together as Austronic Security from 1980 to 1998. The group founded the current company in July last year.
Hospital names director of information systems
Rick Edwards has been appointed director of Information Systems for Howard County General Hospital.
He is responsible for managing the hospital's information systems department.
Benyo is promoted at Synergy fitness
Barbara Benyo has been promoted to assistant manager of corporate fitness at Synergy - The Future of Fitness for Women in Columbia.
She will promote on-site wellness programs, represent the company at community events and promote the fitness facility to corporate clients.
Benyo is a personal and marathon trainer at Synergy.
