Southeastern District
Shooting: A 30-year-old man was walking through a public housing complex in the 300 block of Ballou Court about 4 p.m. yesterday when he was shot in the foot by an unknown assailant. He was in good condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Shooting: A girl, 16, was walking in the 3200 block of McElderry St. about 12:30 a.m. yesterday when she felt pain in a foot. She was treated for a bullet wound at Johns Hopkins.
Western District
Home invasion: Police were seeking two men who drove away in a red 1989 Ford Taurus about 7 p.m. Saturday after breaking into a house in the 1800 block of N. Fulton Ave. and threatening a man, 52, at gunpoint while demanding money. No money was taken and the victim was not injured.
Central District
Theft: Someone stole a woman's purse containing cash and a cellular phone Saturday after she left it on a table at a bar in the 500 block of E. Pratt St.
Eastern District
Robbery: A man, 46, was seated in his pickup truck in the 2500 block of E. Chase St. about 3:30 p.m. Saturday when a man placed an unknown weapon to his neck and robbed him of $60.
Theft: Golf clubs worth $4,500 were stolen Saturday from a Jeep Cherokee parked in the 1100 block of E. Monument St.
Southern District
Burglary: Jewelry valued at $1,550 was stolen Saturday from the bedroom of a house in the 1200 block of Sargeant St.
Baltimore County
North Point Precinct
Theft/arrest: An employee of McCarthy Tire Service in the 200 block of North Point Blvd. was arrested Saturday by Officer Warren Fluck of the Business Patrol Initiative and charged with theft. Police said the employee is accused of stealing several tires from his employer and taking them to a liquor store where they were sold to truckers. Charged with grand theft of tires valued at more than $1,000 and released on his own recognizance was John Gricas, 59, of Town & Country West Apartments, 8600 block of Town & Country Blvd., Ellicott City.
White Marsh Precinct
Carjacking: A 25-year-old Rosedale man was leaving a Royal Farms Store in the 9600 block of Pulaski Highway when two men, one with a handgun, forced him into his blue 2000 Ford Focus with tags GPB 841 and ordered him to drive Saturday night. Several blocks away, the men forced the victim out and rode off in the car.
Towson Precinct
Bank robbery: A man wearing what appeared to be blood-stained bandage over his face robbed Provident Bank at the Metro food market in the 800 block of Goucher Blvd. of an undisclosed sum of money about 10 a.m. Saturday after giving a teller a holdup note.
Parkville Precinct
Burglary: A generator valued at $1,800 was stolen Saturday from a garage in the 4000 block of Cedarside Drive.
