Lane shift in effect starting tomorrow for traffic at BWI

A lane shift on the lower-level road adjacent to the international terminal at Baltimore-Washington International Airport starts tomorrow and is scheduled to continue for about a month.

All lower-level public lanes will be closed from midnight to 6 a.m. for construction of the framework of a sky bridge at Pier D.

The bridge will extend from Level Six of the parking garage to the terminal.

Frontier Airlines moves its operations to Pier D

Frontier Airlines, which flies once daily to Denver all year and twice daily during the summer, has moved its ticketing and flight operation to Pier D.

The airline operates from Gate D-16.

Club gathers 2,000 pounds of goods for charity

The NASA Goddard Flying Club collected more than 2,000 pounds of clothing, food and toys at the Wings of Warmth charity airlift Nov. 3.

The donations were presented to the Salvation Army in Hagerstown.
