HCC, Digital Harbor set trade show, networking event

Howard Community College will collaborate with Digital Harbor Online to sponsor a networking event and minitrade show from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Nov. 19 at the college's campus, 10901 Little Patuxent Parkway, Columbia.

The casual gathering of the area's business and computer technology communities will be held in the college's Galleria. Twenty high-tech vendors will display information on products and services. A tour of the college's facilities for information-technology training programs will be offered. Light fare and refreshments will be provided.

Admission is free. Registration is requested.

Agri-Business Breakfast Thursday at fairgrounds

The bimonthly Howard County Agri-Business Breakfast will be held from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. Thursday at the Howard County Fairgrounds in West Friendship.

The topic is "Control of Invasive Weed Species."

The cost is $6. Registration is requested by Tuesday.

Library offers program on job-seeking skills

The Howard County Central Library, 10375 Little Patuxent Parkway, Columbia, will offer "Job Search Tools at the Library," a program on print and online library resources for a job search, at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
