Ellicott City Mom's Club to hold meeting tomorrow

The Mom's Club of Ellicott City South, a nonprofit support group for stay-at-home mothers, will meet at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow at Emory United Methodist Church, 3799 Church Road, Ellicott City.

The group meets at 9:30 a.m. the second Tuesday of each month. Children are welcome. No fee is charged.

Railroad museum to offer book signing Nov. 29, 30

Author and historian Daniel Carroll Toomey will be at Ellicott City B&O; Railroad Station Museum in Ellicott City to sign copies of his books from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 29 and 30.

He is author of The Civil War in Maryland and other books.

The museum will open its holiday model train exhibit Nov. 29. The exhibit will be on display Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through Jan. 26. It also will be open Dec. 23 through Jan. 3, and closed on Christmas and New Year's Day.

Museum hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays; noon to 5 p.m. Sundays. Information: 410-461-1944 or www. ecbo.org.
