Frailer, Franklin L.

FRANKLIN L. FRAILER, 68, of Salisbury, died Thursday, November 7, 2002 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury of Lymphoma. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Frank and Mae Louise Dwyer Frailer. For many years Mr. Frailer was a Baltimore Sunpapers carrier in the Mt. Washington-Lake Roland Area of Baltimore. He was a U.S. Army veteran. In 1984 he and his family moved to the Eastern Shore, living first in Neavitt. In 1990 they moved to Salisbury. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Sally Anne Frailer, of Salisbury; three children: Michael Frailer of Baltimore, Stephen Frailer and wife, Racquel of Mesa, AZ; and Susan Redmond and husband, Pat of Trappe, MD; five grandchildren: Rebecka, Gus and Keegan of Mesa; Daniel and Jessica of Trappe. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Jo Frailer who died April 22, 2000 Cremation will be followed by a Memorial Service on November 11, 2002 at 11 A.M. at Immanuel Baptist Church, 1514 Old Ocean City Rd., Salisbury, MD 21804. JOAN PROSKEY RICTOR, born on Wednesday, April 19, 1933, was the daughter of Eva Monday and Frederick Proskey of Annapolis, Maryland. She graduated from the Samuel Ready School for Girls in 1951 and the Church Home & Hospital School of Nursing in 1954. The C&P; Telephone Co. of MD. and AT&T; employed her as an occupational health nurse until her corporate retirement in 1989. She then provided clinical health services as a contact nurse for AT&T; and for the US Public Health Service at Social Securitys the National Computer Center in Woodlawn, MD. In 1998 she and her husband relocated to Fords Colony in Williamsburg, VA. Mrs. Rector was predeceased by her parents, her sister, Mildred M. Proskey and her loving son, Norman P. Rictor, Jr. She is survived by her devoted husband of 47 years, Norman P. Rictor, many cousins and treasured friends. A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, November 9, 2002 at 1:15 P.M. in the Druid Ridge Cemetery in Baltimore, Maryland. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M.
