Mildred Louise Baugher, a retired grocery store cash clerk, died Monday of lung disease at her granddaughter's Douglasville, Ga., home, where she had lived for nearly three years. The former Northwest Baltimore resident was 74.

She was born Mildred Louise Carrier in Harrisonburg, Va., and attended schools there before moving to Baltimore in the 1950s. She retired about 10 years ago.

No funeral is planned.

She is survived by her husband of many years, Harold W. Baugher; a son, Charles Carrier Jr. of Harrisonburg, Va.; two daughters, Crystalle Chalk of Baltimore and Sandra Marski of Annapolis; and nine grandchildren.
