Three men who tried to elude police last night were injured last night when their car crashed into a utility pole, police spokesman Troy Harris said.

The pursuit began about 8:30 p.m. when officers saw someone from a car appear to make a drug buy near Northern Parkway and Walther Boulevard. When officers tried to pull the car over, the driver sped away.

Police lost sight of the car on Belair Road, but found it on a side road, Harris said. The men, who were not identified, did not appear to have life-threatening injuries, police said.
