Senior Emily Berman had 17 kills and six aces as the top-ranked Towson volleyball team beat Owings Mills, 15-2, 15-12, 15-10, yesterday in the Class 2A North regional final.
Junior Emily Williams had 34 assists and senior Stephanie Kines added 14 kills and 13 digs in the win for the defending state champion Generals (16-0).
Towson will continue its title defense against Bethesda-Chevy Chase in the state semifinals Wednesday at CCBC-Essex.
4A North
Perry Hall 3, Western 0: Strong performances from Megan Sipes and Abbey Petricca helped the Gators squeeze past the Doves, 15-12, 15-9, 15-8.
Perry Hall advanced to Tuesday's state semifinals at CCBC-Essex, where they'll meet the winner of the Oxon Hill-Eleanor Roosevelt South regional final.

No. 7 Broadneck 3, Thomas Johnson 1: After dropping the first game, the defending state champion Bruins battled back to win, 10-15, 15-10, 15-8, 15-6, behind the play of senior Cristin Van Dyke, who had 17 kills and 13 blocks.
The Bruins await the winner of the Gaithersburg-Springbrook 4A West regional final in the state semifinals on Tuesday at CCBC-Essex.
3A North
No. 5 Dulaney 3, Franklin 0: Senior Bruna Fonseca had 20 assists to pace the Lions (16-2). The 15-2, 15-6, 15-2 win puts them in the Wednesday's 3A semifinals against South regional champion Patuxent.
3A West
Liberty 3, Seneca Valley 0: Laura Shand had 25 assists and four kills as the host Lions won their second consecutive 3A West regional championship, 15-4, 15-7, 15-10.
The Lions take on 3A East champion Mount Hebron on Wednesday in the state semifinals at CCBC-Essex.
1A North
Loch Raven 3, Chesapeake-BC 0: Junior Laura Queen began the match serving three consecutive aces and the Raiders never looked back, downing the Bayhawks, 15-3, 15-5, 15-4.
