Glen Burnie church to hold bingo game, roast beef dinner
The Church of the Good Shepherd will hold its Bingo Blast on Sunday. Doors open at 1 p.m. at 1451 Furnace Ave., Glen Burnie. A $20 donation provides a roast beef dinner, coffee and soda all afternoon, eight cards for regular games and four cards for specials.

Odenton craft bazaar to include food, workshops
Nichols Bethel United Methodist Church, 1239 Murray Road, Odenton will hold a craft bazaar from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 16.

Gladys Callahan-Vocci, a professor at the Johns Hopkins University, will speak about Christian history at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the sanctuary of Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church. Callahan-Vocci will illustrate her talk with slides selected from a personal collection over years of world travel, lectures and research of archaeological sites and museums. Explore the various interludes of the life of Jesus Christ in artwork created during the past 2,000 years and view slides of related sites as they appear today.
