St. Paul Episcopal holiday bazaar scheduled tomorrow
St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 16457 Old Frederick Road, Mount Airy, will hold its holiday bazaar from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. tomorrow.
On sale at the bazaar will be baked goods, jellies and candies, dried flowers, wreaths and arrangements, handmade crafts and gifts, Christmas tree ornaments and farm produce from Larriland Farm. Lunch and a silent auction are planned.
The new 2003 Entertainment Book will be available for purchase. Tickets will be sold for a 50/50 raffle and a cross-stitch Afghan. Winning tickets will be drawn during the church's annual lasagna dinner, scheduled from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Nov. 23. Ticket-holders do not have to be present to win.

Church's youth ministry holding basket bingo today
The Youth Ministry of Church of the Resurrection, 3175 Paulskirk Drive, Ellicott City, will hold basket bingo at 7 p.m. today.
Baskets also will be raffled and door prizes are planned. Doors are to open at 6 p.m. Supper will be available.
Tickets are $12 in advance; $15 at the door.

Spiritual-outreach group offering a potluck lunch
Journeys Community, a contemporary spiritual community for those who would like to pursue a spiritual path but have not found it in traditional forms of worship, will hold a potluck lunch at the conclusion of its 10 a.m. Sunday service at Clemens Crossing Elementary School in Columbia. Those who attend are invited to bring a dish to share.
The theme for the service will be "Relationships Within the Family" and how unrealistic expectations of others creates difficulties in family relationships.
The group, which meets weekly, is an outreach program of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Glenwood.

Christmas bazaar planned at Shepherd of the Glen
Shepherd of the Glen Lutheran Church, 14551 Burntwoods Road, Glenwood, will hold a Christmas bazaar from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. tomorrow.
Handcrafted gifts, food gift baskets, a baked goods table and nearly new tables are planned.

St. John's Baptist holding Women's Day celebration
St. John's Baptist Church, 8910 Old Annapolis Road, Columbia, will hold Women's Day, a yearly celebration of Christian womanhood, at 8 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. services Sunday.
The sermon will be delivered by the Rev. Valentine Royal, director of Women's Ministries of the American Baptist Convention.

Jewish Lamaze experience to be available for couples
The Center for Jewish Education, 5800 Park Heights Ave., Baltimore, will offer "In the Beginning: a Jewish Lamaze Experience," a preparation for childbirth within a Jewish framework.
Classes for couples whose due date is late next month, January or early February will be held from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Tuesdays, beginning next week, at the Jewish Community Center in Owings Mills . Classes will be available in Columbia on request.

Talk by priest will focus on Catholic Church in U.S.
