If you have read J.K. Rowling's work cover-to-cover and find yourself wishing you lived in Gryffindor house, then the Harry Potter Party is for you.

Brush up on your knowledge of Hogwarts and Muggles for the Harford County Whiteford Branch Library's celebration of the beloved fictional tales. On Tuesday, kids ages 3 and up can participate in interactive activities stemming right from the stories along with an educational discussion about the books.

Cardboard castles, simulated Quidditch games and table football will help children experience Harry's adventures.

Commemorating the Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets movie release on Nov. 15, kids are encouraged to revisit the books before the party, where a question-and-answer session will take place. Aspiring wizards can also enjoy a craft and snacks.
