Southeastern District
Arrest: Gary Glenton Gilliam, 53, was asleep in the basement of his home in the 1300 block of N. Ellwood Ave. early yesterday when police served an arrest warrant charging him with robbery and theft. On the bed next to Gilliam was a loaded Soviet-style SKS assault rifle.
Arrest: Police entered a house in the 400 block of N. Lakewood Ave. yesterday and arrested Derrick Sherman, 19, on a warrant charging him with attempted murder. Sherman is accused of shooting at another man with a rifle.
Northeastern District
Arrest: Robert Buetner, 58, was arrested yesterday at his home in the 5600 block of Anthony Ave. on warrants charging him with multiple sex offenses with girls between ages 14 and 15.
Northwestern District
Arrest: Reginald Taylor, 29, was arrested yesterday at his home in the 3900 block of Fords Lane on a warrant charging him with armed robbery.
Southwestern District
Arrest: Shannon Jones, 19, was arrested yesterday at his home in the 4500 block of Cedar Garden Road on a warrant charging him with sexual assault.
Vandalism: Police were seeking a young male who threw an object at a Maryland Transit Administration bus in the 3800 block of Clifton Ave. on Monday evening, shattering its windshield. No one was injured.
Southern District
Arrest: Leroy Anderson, 34, of the 400 block of Sargeant St., who was being sought on a warrant charging him with a handgun violation Oct. 24, surrendered yesterday to the Warrant Apprehension Task Force.
Baltimore County
Woodlawn Precinct
Robbery try: A boy, 16, was walking in the 1800 block of Woodlawn Drive about 8 a.m. Monday when an older male armed with a handgun demanded his money. When the victim recognized the gun as a BB pistol, he pushed his assailant aside and walked away.
Cockeysville Precinct
Burglary: Someone entered St. Vincent Center in the 2600 block of Pot Spring Road between Friday and Monday and stole $112.
Burglary: Power tools valued at nearly $3,000 were stolen from Seal Landscaping in the 1400 block of Shawan Road between Friday and Monday.
