Baltimore City

Southeastern District

Robbery: Three men assaulted a man, 24, in the first block of S. Highland Ave. early Saturday and robbed him of a cellular phone and a wallet with $55.

Burglary: A laptop computer, 20 compact discs and a backpack were stolen Saturday from a house in the 700 block of S. Montford Ave. by someone who entered through a second-story window.

Theft: A briefcase containing books and business papers - all valued at $500 - was stolen Saturday from a 1997 Dodge Caravan parked in the 100 block of S. President St.

Southwestern District

Drug arrest: Police were in the 4100 block of Woodridge Road about 8 p.m. Saturday when they saw a man, 65, in possession of several capsules of heroin. He was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute heroin.

Eastern District

Church burglary/arrest: Police responding to a burglar alarm at Christ United Methodist Church in the 2000 block of E. Chase St. about 3 a.m. Saturday arrested a man and charged him with burglary.

Southern District

Stolen vehicle: A mechanically disabled 1997 Plymouth Neon with tags FXS 606 was stolen Saturday afternoon from the 1600 block of Spruce St.

Theft from vehicle: Medical supplies valued at $300 were stolen Saturday from a 2002 Toyota parked in the 600 block of Washington Blvd.

Burglary: Jewelry, a DVD player, several DVDs, a 35 mm camera and a paintball gun were taken Saturday from a house in the 200 block of Pontiac Ave. by someone who entered through a rear basement window.

Theft from vehicle: A 5-inch, flip-down TV valued at $500 was stolen early Saturday from a 2000 Daewoo parked outside Club Paradox in the 1300 block of Ridgely St.

Baltimore County

Towson Precinct

Assault and robbery: Three men were getting out of a car in the 200 block of Maryland Ave. about 5 a.m. Saturday when they were accosted by two robbers. One of the attackers had a baseball bat, struck one of the victims with it and robbed him of $35. Before the assailants fled, one of them pulled a handgun and fired three shots, one of which struck the car.

Essex Precinct

Burglary: Containers of food were stolen during the weekend from a shed in the 200 block of Back River Neck Road.

North Point Precinct

Vandalism: A 1995 Lincoln Town Car was parked on Liberty Parkway overnight Friday when someone scratched the paint with an unknown sharp tool or knife and hit it with eggs.

Theft from vehicle: Tools and a portable compact disc player were stolen Saturday from a 1990 Jeep Cherokee parked on Belclare Road.

Theft/arrest: A man, 41, was arrested Saturday when he tried to leave Metro Food Market in the 7900 block of Eastern Blvd. without paying for meat products valued at more than $100.

Burglary: Forty compact discs valued at $800 and a pillowcase were stolen Saturday from a house in the 2400 block of Lincoln Ave.

Woodlawn Precinct

Burglary: A TV and a videocassette recorder were stolen Saturday from a trailer parked at Featherbed Lane Elementary School in the 6700 block of Richardson Road.
