Horse show at the MCI Center

THE BALTIMORE SUN

They're graceful, agile and mighty athletes. And they're showing off their horse power today through Sunday at the Washington International Horse Show at the MCI Center.

Horses will compete in barrel-racing, high-jump, obstacle-running, chariot-racing and more, and they'll show off their maneuvers in trick-riding and at musical freestyle dressage exhibitions.

Visitors can get hands-on with free pony rides and learn all about horses.

In addition to the equine events, visitors can watch a "Challenge of Champions" bull-riding competition with top-ranked professional bull-riders. And visitors can catch terrier races with pint-sized dogs zooming over hurdles.

The Washington International Horse Show runs today through Sunday at the MCI Center, 601 F St. N.W., Washington. Hours are 7 a.m.-10:30 p.m. today-Saturday and 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Sunday. $10-$60. Call 410-481-SEAT or 202-432-SEAT.
