A new home and day care center for young mothers will hold a "friend-raiser" in West Baltimore on Sunday to introduce its mission to the public.

Women of Honor and Destiny, an organization that will serve mothers between the ages of 12 and 21, will hold the event from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at American Baptist Churches of the South, 5124 Greenwich Ave. Speakers, music, liturgical dance and refreshments will be featured.
