Johnson is named account team leader at Medicalliance

Carmen Johnson has been appointed account team leader at Medicalliance Inc., a medical education and marketing agency in Columbia.

She will oversee initiatives for the Serono Inc. team, including educational programming for the biotechnology company's recombinant interferon product for the treatment of relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis.

Bob Grandfield joins Citizens National Bank

Bob Grandfield, a Columbia resident and president of the Owen Brown Middle School PTA, has joined Citizens National Bank as a senior vice president in the commercial lending division.

The locally managed $747 million community bank has 18 offices in the Baltimore-Washington corridor.
