The Carroll County Department of Public Works has announced road construction projects for this week.

Waterline installation: Raincliffe Road from Route 32 to Slacks Road.
Road construction: Ladiesburg Road, closed at Route 75.
Widening and paving: Shiloh Road at the limits of Westwood Park Development.
Paving: Houcksville Road Bridge, from Route 30 to Carroll Street; Medford Road from Stone Chapel Road to the railroad crossing.
Road construction: Kate Wagner Road extension from Route 32.
The following are improvements being made to subdivision roads. No parking on the following streets:
Paving: Arlington Drive from Route 32 to the cul-de-sac; Doncrest Court from Arlington Drive to the cul-de-sac; Scotsworth Way from Arlington Drive to the cul-de-sac; Berkley Drive from Route 26 to the cul-de-sac; Northgate Drive from Berkley Drive to the cul-de-sac; Honeycomb Court from Berkley Drive to the cul-de-sac; Candlewick Court from White Rock Road to the cul-de-sac; Taper Court from Candlewick Court to the cul-de-sac; Lantern Drive from Candlewick Court to Martz Road; Talloway Court from Candlewick Court to the cul-de-sac; Candle Court from Candlewick Court to the cul-de-sac.
The following roads are being microsurfaced:
Baumgardner Road South from Bull Frog Road to the gravel; Burrier Lane from Mumma Ford Road to the end of county maintenance; Hagerstown Lane from Keysville Road to the end of county maintenance; Hawks Hill Road from Old New Windsor Road to Sams Creek Road; Mumma Ford Road from Sixes Bridge Road to the Frederick County line; Rockland Road from Uniontown Road to the end of the paved road; Stonesifer Road from Trevanion Road to Feeser Road West; Unger Road from Basehores Mill Road to Mayberry Road; Weymouth Street from Bell Road to the cul-de-sac.

Shoulder work: Hapes Mill Road from Crouse Mill Road to Stover Road; Sixes Bridge Road from Keysville Road to Keysville Bruceville Road.
Tree trimming: Mineral Hill Road from Pine Knob Road to Oakland Mills Road.
Paving: Bert Koontz Road from Kump Station Road to Senft Road.
