Towson University to hold 5K run/walk

TOWSON -- Towson University will hold the third annual Tiger Prowl, a 5-kilometer run/walk, Saturday as part of this year's homecoming festivities.

The race takes participants around the campus. The cost for those who register before Saturday is $15 for youths (15 years old and younger), $20 for adults and $10 for Towson students. Registration will also be held at 7 a.m. Saturday in Lot 14 near the Towson stadium.

Runners start at 8 a.m.; walkers at 8:05 a.m. Proceeds benefit Towson University's American Red Cross Corps. Registration and information: 410-704-2234, or www.towson.edu /homecoming.
