BWI worker dies using jackhammer

THE BALTIMORE SUN

A construction worker at Baltimore-Washington International Airport died yesterday - apparently electrocuted while operating a jackhammer, a spokeswoman for the Maryland Aviation Administration said.

Ernest Oden Jones, 52, of the 1800 block of Copeland St. in Annapolis was working in a trench across from the passenger terminal's lower level about 1:30 p.m. when he collapsed onto the jackhammer, said spokeswoman Cheryl Carley.

Jones was pronounced dead at North Arundel Hospital at 2:30 p.m., authorities said.
