Kerzel named manager of UB's information office

The University of Baltimore announced the appointment of Pete Kerzel as manager of public information. He will be responsible for coordinating media coverage of faculty, staff and student activities. Formerly director of media relations for MedStar Health, Kerzel resides in Catonsville.

PSA names consultant on employee benefits

PSA Financial Center named Doug Giauque an employee benefits consultant. Among his specialties are qualified pensions, 401(k) plans and profit-sharing plans. A graduate of Arizona State University, he is a qualified pension administrator and operated his own firm, Pension Administrative Services, for 14 years before joining the Lutherville-based financial-services company.

Convention group selects Kalmey for sales division

The Baltimore Area Convention and Visitors Association appointed Terry Kalmey associate director of sales in the convention sales division. She will be in charge of associations in the Maryland-Washington-Virginia area. Formerly national accounts director for the Renaissance Harborplace Hotel, she is an active member of several professional, community and industry organizations including the Professional Convention Management Association and the Greater Baltimore Committee.
