Baltimore City

Northeastern District

Homicide arrest: Charles Coleman, 24, of the 500 block of N. Decker Ave. was arrested early Monday after a chase by district officers of a car speeding away from the scene of a fatal shooting in the 5100 block of Lodestone Way. He was found in possession of two revolvers. He was charged with murder and other offenses in the killing of Antonio Wilson, 20. Two others escaped on foot after the alleged getaway car hit a parked vehicle.

Western District

Stolen auto: Two men stole a Yellow Cab Co. taxi at 10:50 p.m. Sunday in the 2400 block of Winchester St. The driver had left the engine running and was helping a disabled passenger ascend a staircase when the men jumped in and rode off.

Baltimore County

Wilkens Precinct

Bank robbery: A man robbed the First Union National Bank at 1060 Maiden Choice Lane at 10:25 a.m. Monday, where detectives were waiting for a suspect wanted in several recent bank robberies. Damon Griffin, 30, of the 4400 block of Wakefield Road was arrested by detectives after a brief chase and held on a federal charge of bank robbery. An undisclosed amount of stolen money was recovered, police said.

Garrison Precinct

Destruction of property: Someone wrote a racial remark in permanent marker on the hood of a car in the first block of Rich Mar Road. The destruction was discovered at 8 a.m. yesterday .

Towson Precinct

Burglary: A bike valued at $1,000 was stolen from an unlocked shed in the 900 block of Fairmount Ave. between 2 am. and noon on Monday.
