Nelson, Elizabeth Jane

ELIZABETH JANE NELSON, 77, formerly ELIZABETH JANE WAGGNER, died of cancer on October 6, 2002, at her home. Born in Baltimore, she retired as assistant secretary-treasurer from the Equitable Trust Company in 1980 after 25 years of service. She served as manager of the Equitable branch office in Glen Burnie for many years. In 1971 she was elected chairman of the Baltimore group of the National Association of Bank Women. In addition to her loving husband, Richard Nelson, she is survived by her son John C. Waggner and his wife, Nancy, three step-children: Joanne Robertson, Michael Nelson and Deborah deFiebre, a sister, Joan Holbert: two nieces: Melissa Doswell and Jennifer Hamp; a nephew, Bruce Holbert; an aunt, Ellen Shaneybrook; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
