Baltimore County police are seeking a suspect in nine purse snatchings in the eastern end of the county during the past two weeks.

In each case, the thief approached a victim, usually an elderly woman, to ask directions and then grabbed her purse or wallet.

The most recent incident was reported Thursday in the North Point Precinct. None of the victims has been seriously injured.
