JANIE INEZ MAURER PERKEY, 78, of Hedgesville, WV., passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2002 peacefully in her home surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Florence, S.C., the daughter of the late John A. and Janie A. Ward Maurer. She was a member of the Hedgesville Baptist Church. She was the beloved wife of the late Calvin Perkey, sister of J.P. Maurer of Charlotte, N.C., Toni Sutton and the late Billy Maurer. Surviving children are Calvin P. Perkey of Bel Air, MD., Joan K. King of East, TN., Lovetta J. Kindervater of Shrewsbury, PA., James M. Perkey of Hedgesville, WV., Randy K. Perkey of Margate, FL., 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. A private Memorial Service will be held at the convenience of the family.
