She is predeceased by her husband, Daniel J. Ludwig, Christian L.

CHRISTIAN L. LUDWIG, 84, a Sparrows Point native and a long time resident of Edgemere died at Baptist Hospital in Pensacola, Florida on July 22, 2002. The son of Christian and Rosina Ludwig and raised in the 600 block of F Street. He moved to Edgemere in 1933 where he resided until 2001 when he moved to Lillian, AL and resided until 2001 when he moved to Lillian, AL and resided with his son. During WWII he served with the US Army in Europe. Upon his return to the United States he went back to work at the Rod & Wire Mill at Sparrows Point. He also joined the 110th Field Artillery Battalion of the 29th Inf Division. He retired from both Bethlehem Steel and the Military in 1977. He was a lifelong member of St. Johns Lutheran Church in Edgemere where he served as the Treasure of the Church for over 25 years. He is survived by two sons, three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A Memorial Service will be conducted on August 31, 2002 at 10 A.M. at St. Johns Lutheran Church, 7801 North Point Rd., Edgemere, MD. Tyler, Julia Anne

JULIA ANNE (nee Walton) TYLER died peacefully of natural causes at her home at Ginger Cove on August 22, 2002. She was the devoted wife of the late J. Edward Tyler, III, and a descendant of several prominent Marylanders, including Leonard Calvert and Governor Joseph Kent. Her grandfather, Henry Roland Walton, was the first physician to administer anesthesia in Annapolis. Ms. Tyler was born in 1918 and lived in Anne Arundel County continuously. She was a graduate of Trinity College in Washington D.C. She married her late husband in 1940 in the bay window of her familys historic home on 10 Francis Street, Annapolis. She will be remembered for her independent spirit, love of life, wonderful social grace, sense of humor, and deep Catholic faith. She valued her friends and had the gift of making people feel good about themselves. Her interests included entertaining her friends, sailing, golf, and travel. She was a volunteer of the Christ Child Society for many years. She is survived by many friends who will always cherish her memory. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered at St. John The Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 689 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park, Maryland 21146 on Thursday, September 5, 2002 at 10:00 A.M.
