In an op-ed column Sunday, state Sen. Clarence M. Mitchell IV was incorrectly identified as the last elected official bearing the Mitchell family name in Baltimore. In fact, Councilman Keiffer Jackson Mitchell Jr. serves on the City Council from the 4th District and on the 44th District Democratic State Central Committee.
