Thunder Hill Elementary School is warning parents about two reports of men following children in their neighborhoods.
Two men in a light blue sedan followed a pupil from the bus stop in the Glenmont area Sept. 6, and a car matching the same description was seen driving slowly by a girl playing basketball in an unspecified Ellicott City neighborhood Sept. 9, a letter from the school said. The letter was dated Sept. 11.
Both incidents were reported to Howard County police, who plan to step up patrols in the area, according to the letter from Principal Cynthia H. Hankin and Assistant Principal Cathy Nowack.
