Man, 42, stabbed; police have no suspect in case

A 42-year-old man was stabbed and critically wounded yesterday morning in the 2400 block of St. Paul St., according to Baltimore police.

The man was stabbed in the stomach about 6:10 a.m. during an argument, police said. He was in critical condition at Maryland Shock Trauma Center, they said.

The victim's name was not released, and police said they do not have a suspect.

Paramedic hit by car while at accident site

RANDALLSTOWN - A Baltimore County paramedic was in serious but stable condition at Maryland Shock Trauma Center after being hit by a car while on duty yesterday in Randallstown.

Paramedic Dontay Paige was directing traffic near a car accident at Windsor Mill Road and Meadowview Drive about 1:30 p.m. when he was struck by a vehicle that had been rear-ended, said Capt. Glenn Blackwell of the Baltimore County Fire Department. Page was knocked back about 20 feet. His legs were broken, Blackwell said.

Page was scheduled to undergo surgery last night at Shock Trauma, Blackwell said.

None of the drivers' involved in the crash have been charged with a crime, according to county police.

Pa. woman dies of injuries from motorcycle crash

ANNAPOLIS - A Pennsylvania woman died from injuries she suffered in a motorcycle accident Friday on U.S. 50 near Annapolis, authorities said yesterday.

Patricia Lenning, 32, was riding with her husband, Timothy Lenning, around 3 p.m. when traffic in front of them abruptly stopped, according to state police. The Altoona, Pa., couple, traveling about 30 mph, then crashed, according to Maryland State Police.

Both were wearing helmets that were not certified by the U.S. Department of Transportation, police said. Patricia Lenning suffered head trauma and died late Friday night at Anne Arundel Medical Center, hospital officials said. Timothy Lenning, 36, was not injured, authorities said.
